Three Day Mini Course: Beginning Clothing Sewing for Teens

Students will complete at least two garment projects while learning:

• How to take body measurements
• Choosing appropriate fabric for your pattern
• Constructing with appropriate stitches
• Finishing seams
• Hemming

Class Date/Time: 10/16-10/18, 11:30am-1:30pm

Class Length: 2 hours/day

Age: 11-17 years old

Prerequisites: Must have some basic experience using a sewing machine OR have completed the Sewing Machine Beginner Basics class at The Sewing Room

Cost: $100

Spaces Available: 4

Supplies: Sewing machines and all notions will be provided. Fabric for day 1 will be provided by The Sewing Room. Students may need to provide fabric for the following days. On day 1 students will decide on their project for the following days and we will discuss fabric requirements for their chosen project.
